Declan Hayden is a drummer & percussionist based in New York City. He has been a cast member of STOMP since 2021. He has also played professionally for EMAS Kansas City, the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, CSO “Look Around”, dance classes, worship bands, and sixteen musicals.
Declan has presented guest lectures at the New York University Broadway Percussion Seminar, the University of South Florida, Western Oregon University, and High Point University. In years past, Declan taught extensively throughout the state of Ohio, working with young musicians through seven school districts and four independent music education organizations.
Declan studied Percussion and Music Education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music under Rusty Burge and Jim Culley. As a student, he performed at PASIC and SICPP.
